As attention spans diminish, Rob aka MobilaFilms still goes for long-form content just because he feels like it. His recent iPhone trip movie is divided into two parts and is almost a full-lenght, an hour long. The vid follows Rob on a trip to the UK visiting London and Jersey. OG RajonTV fans might remember the connection we had with Jersey’s Pillo Wheel Gang in 2017 via Rob’s contacts. Since 2017 aslo Mind Work Ramps ventured to Jersy island and erected a spacious plaza there, so Jersians definitily respect Latvians. The plaza is seen in the second part of the Holidays video. Among other sick highlights, Rob’s switch tre on flat at South bank is a standout moment in the video. Make sure to cheer for our man when you see it. Last year Rob also went to Malaga, and his 7 season siries from that trip are coming soon.
Before Maxlas, Riga skaters spent their leisure flat activities at Kalpaks, and now skate action only seem to happen at Kalpaks during Rob’s and Berjoza’s annual Dirty Fisheye Game of skate. It’s a game of skate free for all to enter with a betting system involved. Like if you miss a trick you can buy another try etc. Very fun and locals seems to love it as seen in the final game video between Potašs and Reitups. Looking forward to the next year game.
Ciems Crew are involved in building an indoor called “Stroika”. If you follow the crew, you might have seen them skating in what looked like an abandoned. That’s “Stroika”. They are currently working on making it a real indoor park. More details in their recent IG post.
Takeover posted a clip on their IG account of Fred and Francis skating the old Maxima’s pass (idk how to call it). Fun.
Our Tallinn collegues had a “Life Race” at Krulli 2.0 last weekend. Sounds like a good family friendly event. They had a premiere of TÕMBA GETDAFAKKI TUURI video, which is probably coming online very soon. Peep recap vid by Lauri Taht.

I think a sign of a dedicated skateboarder is when you can turn the most random curb available to you into a spot and session it alone for hours like a maniac. That brings us to another IG mention: Sandis’ ig phone clip compilation. That clip felt inspiring. Would love to see more older heads posting stuff like that.
Speaking of OLD heads. The terms Pensiognar (Coined right here in RajonTV HQ btw) after being thrown around has finally materialized in an IG account and dedicated crew of 3.
Another IG account that materialized recently is Baltic Skate Supply. It is an online skate shop based in Riga, and run by ???. Maybe it is just us, but we need proof of ligitimacy and good intention in order to support an initiative like a new skateshop. It is a big deal! Shops make events, videos, sponsor a team, or do other activities for the skate culture and the scene. Otherwise it is a bunch of the same decks you can get in other places, why should we bother?
