With a second tour vid in one month, Riga starts to feel like a legit skate destination. Both Tile Square’s Riga vid, and now Austrian crew YAMA skateboards’ vid NEVERKLEID show Riga in such an attractive light it almost makes you want to visit your own city. As far as spots go, YAMA crew skated some uncommon pieces at the National Opera: the little hubba into grass and that trash can of three stairs (the vids ender). The opener next to G-tiim was a surprise too and forgoten bridge to nowhere DIY. Other than that a lot of familiar spots: LNB, Maxlas, Rainis, Daile (poppin’), Lermantova parks, Fricis’ DIY at Dzemdibu nams and also Kongresu Nams that for some reason is really heartwarming to see. Shout out to YAMA Crew, and enjoy the vid!
P.s. the topic of ABDs is irrelevant in such contexts, but just can’t resist addressing this one. So people know and those who know, do not forget. But still the fact that someone noticed and attempted that spot is remarkable in its own. Big respect.
P.s.s. Stay hydrated and wear a cap today, there’s a heat wave outside!!!
